(3) Lack of "targeted traffic"

Getting targeted traffic to your affiliate link is awesome as this is what brings sales. However, random traffic is pretty useless. Look at it like this...imagine the busy foot traffic in the middle of New York. Imagine if you own a hot dog stand and you set it up next to a place where there are lots of people but they all bring their own lunch to work. You will be unlikely to make many sales. What you need is a hungry audience!

Now, if you set that same hot dog stand outside another busy place where people are really hungry and have no lunch with them then you will be helping them to solve a problem and making a healthy profit in return. Keep this in mind if you want to know how to earn money online.
